摘要
Introduction/Aims: Accurate prenatal identification of placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) optimizes treatment planning, improving patients’ clinical outcome. We aim to investigate the association of MRI detectable intraplacental fetal vessels (IFVs) and their caliper, with PAS and peripartum outcome. Methods: Between March 2016-October 2019, 160 pregnant women suspected of PAS, underwent dedicated placental MRI. Secondary analysis of prospectively collected data was performed by two experienced genitourinary radiologists for presence, extent [superficial (outer placental half), deep (inner placental half)] and maximum diameter of intraplacental fetal vessels (IFV).
