Synthesis, thermal behavior in oxidative and pyrolysis conditions, spectroscopic and DFT studies of some alkaline earth metals p-aminobenzoate complexes using TG-DTA, DSC, PXRD and EGA (TG-FTIR) techniques

摘要
•Thermal and pyrolysis behavior of compounds has been studied by TG/DSC-FTIR.•The pyrolytic and oxidative thermal decomposition mechanisms has been proposed.•The main gaseous products identified in both conditions were H2O, Aniline, CO and CO2.•FTIR and DFT data present information about the coordination mode of complexes.•The theoretical FTIR spectra showed great similarity with the experimental data.
