摘要

•The meandering bend features of (Very) large-scale motions were experimentally investigated.•Most of hairpin vortices were observed existing at the upstream/downstream edge of negative/positive (Very) large-scale motions.•The meandering of (very) large-scale motions actually represents the distributions of hairpin vortices.•The meandering bend direction of (very) large-scale motions is independent with the asymmetry of a small-scale hairpin vortex.
