PROFESSIONALISM AND CREATIVITY IN TIMES OF COVID-19: IMPACT OF THE RED IBEROAMERICANA DE PEDAGOGIA FROM ONE OF ITS CONGRESSES

The appearance of the new coronavirus SARS- CoV-2 and its dissemination as a pandemic all over the world has deeply affected social, economic, cultural and educational life of many countries since the end of 2019. The new sanitary conditions have had a particular impact in the field of knowledge management and promotion, specifically in the organization and development of scientific events, including those of educational character. Such events have demanded, at least in the case of international congress of the Ibero American Network on Pedagogy (REDIPE), a necessary readjustment of its conception as a space for academic exchange among teachers, executives and other educational agents. The present article precisely, deals with how the 5th Scientific Workshop "Language, Culture and Education in the diversity" within the 10th International Congress on Education and Pedagogy (CIDEP) was organized and developed in Cuba during July 2021. The interest of the authors of the present work is to evaluate, based on scientific theoretical, empirical and statistical methods, the impact of the event that took place in the context of pandemic, for participants and organizers. As a result of the study carried out, the basic organizational coordinates followed for the planning, execution and evaluation of the event, are presented.
