THE APPROPRIATION OF CREATIVITY IN MANAGEMENT STUDIES: AN INTEGRATIVE REVIEW AND IDENTIFICATION OF GAPS IN LITERATURE

The present study aimed to analyze how creativity has been appropriated in management studies of the past five years through an integrative literature review. The integrative review was carried out with the support of the SPELL platform, using the following filters: Keyword: creativity; Period of publication: January 2015 to January 2020; Type of document: article; Portuguese language. This search resulted in a quantity of 32 (thirty-two) publications. With an accurate reading of the abstracts, 8 (eight) articles were excluded from the corpus, as they dealt with topics that did not take into account the practice of creativity in organizations, totaling 24 (twenty-four) articles. The corpus was read and, as a result, tables were created that correspond to the synthesis matrices of the thematic categories, delimited as: "Relationships between creativity and innovation"; "Metrics to measure creativity"; Creativity as an input for the creative economy"; and "Other emerging perspectives' There is a thematic heterogeneity in the studies of the corpus. Taking as recommendations that future studies may address the interrelationship between creativity and innovation, elements of creativity management, qualitative approaches as alternatives to metrics and the possibility of studies in different contexts, such as social businesses, tourism enterprises and organizations public.
