摘要
This study reports a simple and scalable synthetic route to NiCo 2 O 4 nanotubes that exhibited porous structure and excellent degradation performance. These porous nanotubes are characterized by extensive electrochemical and physical analysis techniques. Electrochemical technologies include cyclic voltammetry (CV) to determine the electrochemical surface area, electrochemical impedance measurements to examine the electrochemical behavior, and degradation experiment to evaluate electrocatalytic performance. The best performing NiCo 2 O 4 electrode exhibits excellent electrocatalytic oxidation activity and numerous electrochemical active sites. These merits combined with adequate cyclic stability indicate that porous NiCo 2 O 4 nanotubes are excellent electrode materials for wastewater treatment. This design strategy of electrode provides new insights for future work on enhancing electrode performance for wastewater treatment or other technological applications.
