摘要
In this study, three centrifuge modeling tests related to the Liquefaction Experiment and Analysis Projects were conducted. Test models were prepared in a rigid-wall container with a length, central height, and sand slope of 20 m, 4 m, and 5°, respectively, in the prototype scale. Two additional centrifuge modeling tests with different sand materials were carried out to obtain more information. The results of these two tests showed that the properties of the two sand materials were similar; however, different grain sizes of sand particles with the same relative density or void ratio affected the behavior of the saturated sand slope during seismic shaking. Furthermore, a series of experiments were conducted to evaluate the applicability and performance of a fiber Bragg grating pore pressure transducer as an alternative method for pore pressure measurement.
