摘要

- An amide-functionalized thia[7]helicene-like molecule was prepared in an optically active form through the cyclization of the corresponding axially chiral d-amino acid. X-Ray analysis revealed its twisted helical structure with clockwise helicity and a pairwise association through hydrogen-bonding interactions. This pairwise complex accumulated in the columnar packing in the solid state.
