摘要
This study reports the use of Pd and Ag bimetallic nanoparticles, supported on carbon black and tapioca for the modification of glassy carbon electrodes. The characterization of PdAg/carbon black and tapioca film on the electrode surface was performed by scanning electron microscopy, Fourier-transform infrared and electrochemical impedance spectroscopies, X-ray diffraction, and cyclic voltammetry techniques. In addition, the proposed sensor was used for the electrochemical determination of nitrite, by differential pulse voltammetry, with a linear range from 5.0 to 1000 mu mol L-1, and a detection limit of 1.24 mu mol L-1 The proposed method was applied for the detection of the analyte of interest in environmental and food samples. The bimetallic composite production is simple and the sensor proved to be sensitive for electrochemical sensing of nitrite. (C) 2021 The Electrochemical Society ("ECS").
