Design and Optimization on a Field Modulation Magnetic Gear Using in Integrated Servo Motor

This paper presents Field Modulated Magnetic Gear (FMMG) used in integrated servo motor in details. A FMMG is designed and optimized for the integrated servo motor with 80 mm outer diameter. By discussing the matching of the inner and outer poles, the pole arc coefficient, the pole eccentric angle and so on, the maximize torque while reducing its torque fluctuation of the magnetic gear was finally designed.
