Smartphone devices for diagnosis of epileptic seizures: A systematic review and meta-analysis

The diagnostic of epilepsy and classifying seizure type are very difficult for the physician because of the relative infrequency of events or occurrences just during certain activities or in unique settings. In that context, smartphones are proposing as an alternative to helping clinicians, patients, and caregivers, to reporting seizures, using videos, etc., to help diagnosis. The purpose of this study is to conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis of applications or smartphone devices related to the diagnosis of epilepsy.
