Marginal zone B-cell lymphoma (MZL) refers to a group of lymphomas arising from B lymphocytes located in the marginal zone of secondary lymphoid follicles. MZL represents 5 – 15% of all non-Hodgkin lymphoma in adults [1] and is among the commonest of indolent lymphomas, second to follicular lymphoma [2].
