摘要

•Near field communication (NFC) is a wireless communication technology that can be used for various healthcare-related applications.•An NFC device was developed with a ferrite core, thus, there are MRI-related safety issues.•An NFC device was developed with a ferrite core, thus, there are MRI-related safety issues.•This NFC device will not pose a risk to a patient undergoing MRI at 1.5- or 3-Tesla and, therefore, it is MR Conditional.
