A New Enhanced Coordinated Multi-Point (CoMP) Transmission Design for Cancelling Inter-cell Interference for Cell-Edge Users Using Superimposed Supporting Signals

The authors introduce and model a newly proposed concept that utilizes supporting signals superimposed with the users' data signals to cancel inter-cell interference for users located at the cell edge. This is achieved without sacrificing temporal, spectral, or spatial resources.
