Abstract
•The CD36 rs1761667 AA genotype may increase susceptibility to Parkinson’s disease.•The CD36 rs1761667 AA genotype is associated with reduced plasma CD36 levels.•Plasma IL-6/1β and TNF-α levels are elevated in patients with PD and AA/GA carriers.•IL-6/1β and TNF-α levels are risk factors for PD in a northern Han Chinese population.
