Unified-Phase-Shift Control Method of Dual Active Bridge DC-DC Converter for Data Center Application

In order to ensure the reliability of data center, the uninterrupted power supply is very important. Usually, supply power is derived from the ac system, and the isolated dc-dc converter is required for converting the suitable low voltage. In this paper, the dual-active-bridge (DAB) dc-dc converter is adopted. To improve performance of DAB converter, numerous studies have focused on some kinds of phase-shift control methods when both-side voltages are not matched. In order to integrated analysis of those phase-shift control methods, this paper proposes a unified-phase-shift (UPS) control method. On this basis, this paper gives the detail relationship and comparative analysis of those phase-shift control about some characteristic parameters. And the experimental results showed agreement with theoretical analysis.
