Polygenic risk scores (PRS) developed for women of European ancestry could be used for the prediction of individualized breast cancer risk, and thus, potentially have applications in guiding targeted preventative measures and population screening. However, the PRS performance across diverse populations within Europe has not been extensively evaluated. This, is crucial before the use of PRS for clinical decisions.
