摘要

•Abnormal LV diastolic function is an important mechanism in heart failure.•Noninvasive assessment of diastolic function by echocardiography is complex.•No single measure of diastolic function is available, unlike for systolic function.•Machine learning was used to generate a continuous score for diastolic function.•This score correlated well to the most recent ASE/EAVCI guideline gradings.
