Abstract
The effects of ELICE16INDURES®plant conditioner developed by the Research Institute for Medicinal Plants and Herbs (RIMPH) Ltd. Budakalász Hungary, were studied in a soybean population. The active ingredients of the compound have been selected to help elicit general immunity in plants without pathogenic damage, thereby robotizing the healthy plant population and preparing it for possible biotic stressors. The property of this substance is the ultra-low-volume (ULV) application to increases plant health which can be detect by agro-drone monitoring. Here we have analysed changes in the expression levels of genes encoding enzymes involved in the catalysis of metabolic pathways that induce and regulate PAMP-triggered immunity (PTI) at two different time points and treatments. Based on a genome-wide transcriptional profiling, twenty-three enzymes catalysing different metabolic pathways, such as the biosynthesis of jasmonic acid (JA), salicylic acid (SA), phenylpropanoid, flavonoid, and phytoalexin or cellular detoxification processes were analysed by mRNA quantification and RT-qPCR. It has been found that some of the primary defense mechanisms like Mitogen Activated Protein-Kinase (MAPK) cascade, JA biosynthesis, flavonoid and phytoalexin biosynthesis may be intensified using ELICE16INDURES®spraying.
