摘要
Radial access has several advantages over femoral access, including lower access site complication rates, reduced periprocedural pain and shorter recovery times. On the other hand, post-procedural arterial occlusion occurs more frequently after radial access compared with femoral access which can be a limitation in patients who require repeat transarterial procedures. Limited data is available regarding how many times a radial artery can be accessed for interventional procedures. The purpose of this study was to evaluate radial artery access in patients who underwent 4 or more transradial procedures via the same radial artery.
