4-Nitrophenylacetylene-modified Cu₂O cubes and rhombic dodecahedra showing superior photocatalytic activity through surface band structure modulation

Inert Cu2O cubes become a superior photocatalyst after surface functionalization with 4-nitrophenylacetylene. This modification changes the surface band structure to facilitate electron transfer to the molecules.
