摘要
•A novel methodology of using air-water mixture as the working fluid for TEGs was proposed in this study.•When air fixed on one side, the addition of a small amount of water (about 20%) on the other side could considerably enhance the output power, allowing a large amount of water to be saved for the equivalent performance.•With total water content limited, TEGs may reach the best performance when the WMF is equal to 0.5 on both sides.
