摘要
Biocatalysts selectively activate chemical bonds viaweak interactions; however, this remains a significant barrier forartificial catalysts. Herein, we report a biomimetic Pt/COF/SiO2(COF: covalent organic framework) catalyst with independentlytunable sites of Pt, COF, and SiO2. Inert aliphatic carbonylcompounds can be efficiently converted into correspondingalcohols through the biomimetic catalyst; conversely, catalystssuch as Pt/SiO2are hardly successful. Compared with Pt/SiO2, thebiomimetic catalyst demonstrates a substantial increase inselectivity to phenyl ethanol from 27.5 to 94.7% in acetophenonehydrogenation. The promoted activity and selectivity of thebiomimetic catalyst are attributed to the synergistic catalysis ofcarbonyl hydrogenation on COF sites, H2dissociation on Pt, and hydrogen transfer through SiO2. The synergistic catalysis withweak interactions is an efficient approach for the selective hydrogenation of substrates with multiple unsaturated groups.
