摘要
Long-term corrosion behavior of T91 steel was investigated in 550 °C static liquid lead-bismuth eutectic (LBE) at different dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration. It was found that the oxide film formed in the oxygen-saturated LBE consists of iron-lead composite oxide, Fe3O4, Fe-Cr spinel and an inner oxidation zone (IOZ). The IOZ is composed of matrix and FeCr2O4 which follows orientation relationships with the matrix. The thickness of oxide film significantly reduces at DO= 1.26 × 10−6 wt %. Dissolution corrosion and intergranular penetration of Pb-Bi were observed at DO≤ 1.41 × 10−8 wt %. The corrosion mechanism of T91 steel in liquid LBE is discussed.
