Knowledge of mothers with children age 0 to 24 months on diaper dermatitis management and associated practice in a referral Hospital in Northern Ghana: a cross sectional study

Introduction: diaper dermatitis is found to be the most common skin condition among children below 24 months. Though it is generally less fatal, it could elevate into a severely painful condition with possible bacterial and fungal infestation requiring a critical medical attention. The aim of the study is to assess knowledge of mothers with children in the diaper wearing age on diaper dermatitis management and associated practice in a referral hospital in Northern Ghana.
