摘要
•A novel thermo-sensitive hydrogel was produced using a hybrid of methylcellulose (MC), hyaluronic acid (HA), and silk fibroin (SF).•MCHASF hydrogel was used as a 3D tumor model.•MCHASF hydrogel exhibited similar stiffness to native breast tumors.•MDA-MB231 cells embedded in hydrogel exhibited characteristic of malignancy.•3D cultured cells were easily released of hydrogel at room temperature.
