Novel pyrazole-based carboxylate ligand as a building block for assembling lanthanides in luminescent 2D and 3D MOFs

摘要
•New pyrazole-based carboxylic ligand 1-(carboxymethyl)-1H-pyrazole-3,5-dicarboxylic acid (H3L) has been prepared.•Two new families of lanthanide complexes [LnL(H2O)2]n, Ln = La-Tb and [LnL(H2O)]n, Ln = Dy-Lu has been prepared and studied.•It was shown that the ligand H3L is able to sensitize the lanthanide luminescence emitting in VIS-region, especially Tb3+.
