MnFe2O4 nano-flower: A prospective material for bimodal hyperthermia

摘要
•The solvo-thermal synthesis method was used to obtain flower-like morphology of MnFe2O4.•Intrinsic loss power of ~ 5.31 nH m2 kg−1 was observed during magnetic hyperthermia due to modified magnetic behaviour.•Even 100 µg/mL could produce temperature (~ 42 °C) during PTT with a photo-thermal conversion efficiency of ~ 63%.•Photo-luminescence spectroscopy showed intense peak in NIR region, corroborates well to the impressive heating behaviour.
