摘要
•A multiphase, multidimensional proton exchange membrane water electrolyzer mode is established.•The simulation results are validated using the in-house experimental data, and the high fidelity of the developed model is confirmed.•High current density leads to low liquid saturation in the cathode diffusion layer.•High temperature increases and decreases liquid saturation in the cathode and anode, respectively.•High porosity and low contact angle promote the capillary transport of water in porous media.
