Highly conductive, stretchable, durable, breathable electrodes based on electrospun polyurethane mats superficially decorated with carbon nanotubes for multifunctional wearable electronics

•A novel stretchable electrode was made by electrospinning and ultrasonic treatment.•The superior merits included high stretchability, conductivity and air permeability.•The wearable heaters, strain sensors and supercapacitor electrodes were demonstrated.
