摘要
•A combination of AOP, RDF, MSD, and coordination number was used for the first time to reveal the methane hydrate decomposition.•Among glycine, alanine, valine, serine, and glutamic acid, glycine had the fastest decomposition rate.•5 mol% glycine showed the best efficiency for the hydrate decomposition.•Temperature and pressure have considerable effects on the decomposition of methane hydrate.
