摘要

•Nanoparticles were synthesized by pulsed laser irradiation in liquids.•Nanoparticle-enhanced laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (NELIBS) was used to analyze soil samples.•Compared with conventional LIBS, the limits of detection of NELIBS reached a sub-ppm level.
