This study begins with an evaluation of key geologic variables for well documented geologic formations to identify which characteristics best correlate with a successful use of the reservoir (production, EOR, storage). Then, a new ranking system was designed around these variables to capture the heterogeneity. Finally, the methodology was applied to different case studies to test the applicability of the system.
