摘要

•We compared the efficacy and tolerability of DBS in OCD in the long term.•Our results confirm the powerful effect of DBS on reducing OCD symptoms after 6.4 ± 3.2 years.•The use of DBS in OCD was well tolerated with limited and reversible side effects.•No clinical predictor of response to DBS in OCD could be established.
