摘要
•Fracture-susceptible bone like aged femurs exhibited a decrease in Ift140 expression.•Ift140 deletion in osteoblasts conferred compromised bone fracture rehabilitation, while its overexpression facilitated fracture recovery.•Ift140 in osteoblasts relayed inhibitory signal to BMSC for chondrogenesis and osteogenesis.
