摘要

•The plan library (PL) for H&N IMPT was compared to conventional treatments.•The PL resulted in overall reduced NTCPs at limited cost in target coverage.•If NTCP was worse, adherence to target constraints could sometimes be improved.•The PL is a relatively simple online adaptive strategy to implement in clinics.
