摘要
•The concentration of hydrogen-bonded hydroxyls are inferred from temperature-variant infrared measurements.•RTPT parameters were regressed for ethanol and 1-butanol in cyclohexane and the average chain length was found to be similar.•Enthalpies are tabulated for the formation of dimer and n-mer oligomers and compared to the hydrogen bond dispersion energy.
