摘要
In this study, the influences of the activated carbon type and wet conditions on the nitrogen oxide (NOx) removal performance of foam composites were investigated. To this end, foam composites with interconnected pores and a large specific surface area were prepared using activated carbon and titanium dioxide (TiO2). Two types of activated carbon (palm and pitched-based) with different micropore structures were used. The NOx removal performance of each specimen was evaluated according to the wet conditions. In addition, the micropore characteristics of the specimens were analyzed and compared with the NOx removal performance. The analyzed results revealed that the micropore structure of activated carbon has a significant influence on the NOx removal performance. In addition, as the moisture content of each specimen increased, the NOx removal performance of the foam composite showed a tendency to decrease.
