THz Imaging Based on Beam Engineering Using Spatial Filtering Methods

摘要
Beam engineering based on compact diffractive optics and spatial filtering methods, like phase contrast and dark field, for THz imaging is presented. It is shown that spatial filtering enables enhancement in images contrast up to 30 dB, and an order of magnitude increased signal-to-noise ratio, opening thus a promising route for functional and versatile applications.
