Glycaemic control in insulin deficient patients using different insulin delivery and glucose sensoring devices: Cross-sectional real-life study

•Glucose determination method and treatment modality affect glycaemic control as an independent risk factor in addition to age.•The youngest patients had the most room for improvement in the glycaemic control.•Closed insulin pump systems were more effective than open systems.
