Novel V-BiOIO3/g-C3N4/WC Schottky heterojunction with optimizing optical absorption and charge transfer for abatement of tetracycline antibiotics

摘要
•A new photocatalytic material was forming by self-assembling of V-doped BiOIO3 and FTCN and introducing of tungsten carbide.•V-BiOIO3/g-C3N4/WC have exhibited high visible-light photodegradation of antibiotic.•The presence of S-type Schottky heterojunction in V-BiOIO3/g-C3N4/WC enhances the degradation efficiency of tetracycline.•Tungsten carbide as a cheap and widely available material has a positive effect on the promotion of photocatalytic industrial process.
