Synthesis of an Advanced Maximum Power Point Tracking Method for a Photovoltaic System: A Chaotic Jaya Logistic Approach

This work presents a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) method based on the Logistic Chaotic Jaya algorithm (LCJAYA) for photovoltaic system networks(PVs). The developed strategy operates under partial and variable radiant conditions. In practice, optimization methods are employed in the inverter to establish the optimal voltage for the MPPT via an interactive, repetitive and dynamic tuning of the PV system. A simulation study is conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. The performance is evaluated against the conventional form of Jaya which is the variant of the optimization algorithm most often used for this benchmarking problem. The simulation results illustrate that the proposed strategy requires fewer iterations to converge to the MPPT and performs better in terms of dynamic tracking rather than the conventional methods.
