A Method and Implementation of Remote Access to Telecontrol Configuration Description File

In order to adapt to the mode of no-operator substation and meet the requirements of monitoring and operation and maintenance of substation monitoring system remotely, a method of accessing telecontrol configuration description file (RCD, Remote Configuration Description) based on DL/T476 protocol is proposed in this paper. This method makes full use of the hardware facilities of the dispatching master station-substation, does not need additional hardware equipment, and only makes a minor upgrade to the program of dispatching master station and the substation data communication gateway server, which can realize remotely access RCD files of substations from the dispatching master station. The effectiveness of the method is verified by laboratory tests and pilot applications in Linyi Yuquan Station.
