摘要
Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) is an established treatment for motor signs and fluctuations associated with Parkinson's disease (PD). Retrospective studies can provide a relatively quick and cost-effective means to obtain data regarding various types of patient outcomes when devices are being used per standard-of-care in the real-world clinical setting, thereby contributing to real-world evidence (RWE). Here, we report clinical outcomes associated with the use of DBS systems capable of directionality and Multiple Independent Current Control (MICC) used in the management of PD motor symptoms.
