Competition between polycrystalline morphology and microphase separation in blends based on cellulose triacetate

•CTA is partially miscible with VG or with PEO block in binary blends.•Morphology of binary blends strongly depends on both VG or EPE content.•Established morphologies diagram confirm that VG acted as nanostructuration agent.•The same morphologies is achieved adding VG and less EPE block copolymer.
