Search for the superiority of supercritical water with ab initio molecular dynamics simulation

•A systematic and complete research on the degree of hydrogen bonding is presented.•The linear relationship between density and dielectric constant is discussed.•Experimental results well match the variation of the calculated spectra.•The gasification process of diphenylethane also supports the simulation results.
