Quality classification of gasoline samples based on their aliphatic to aromatic ratio and analysis of PONA content using genetic algorithm based multivariate techniques and ATR-FTIR spectroscopy

摘要
•Simultaneous study of classification and quantization of gasoline samples.•GA-dd-SIMCA was successfully employed to classify gasoline samples according to their aliphatic to aromatic ratio.•GA-PLSR and GA-SVMR regression models were used to determine PONA contents in gasoline samples using Mid-IR spectroscopy.•GA-dd-SIMCA and GA-SVMR algorithms presented better results than GA-PLS-DA and GA-PLSR models, respectively.
