Experimental investigation of mixed mode I–II fatigue crack propagation in concrete using a digital image correlation method

•The COD, CSD, crack width, and the crack propagation length for mixed mode I–II fatigue crack have been continuously captured with the DIC method.•The tortuous mixed mode I–II fatigue crack propagation path has been visualized using the DIC method.•The DIC method is an effective way to measure the complete mixed mode I–II fatigue crack propagation in concrete.
