摘要
Boundaries around the work and nonwork domains help individuals to adopt domain appropriate roles and create a balance between the two domains. But the extreme conditions imposed by the pandemic (e.g., both spouses working from home; prolonged use of work from home) have led to employees adapting to work from home in ways that may have lasting effects on how they and their employers view the work-nonwork boundaries post-pandemic. This creates a need for reexamining conventional approaches and theories for understanding boundary management in remote work.
