摘要
Cellulose fiber was successfully prepared from bamboo waste. It was chemically purified by alkali treatment at ambient condition. After that, conductive cellulose was successfully prepared. Polypyrrole was formed due to the presence of FeCl3. It was coated on the surface of purified cellulose. It was remarkable to note that N-H stretching was observed by Fourier transform infrared. No significant change of crystallinity was observed by X-ray diffraction. Thermogravimetric analysis reported that composites were thermally stable up to 200 °C. Scanning electron microscope reported the smoothness of surface. The existence of polypyrrole was found in the porosity between cellulose networks. Energy dispersive analysis and CHN analysis illustrated the presence of ferrous and nitrogen atoms, respectively. The electrical conductivity was enhanced with respect to amount of polypyrrole. It was remarkable to note that polypyrrole coated onto surface of cellulose derived from bamboo exhibited the excellent properties as a candidate for the flexible electronic substrate.
